La temporada de premios llegó a su fin con el máximo galardón en cuanto a cine se refiere. Y como cada año, los premios de La Academia estuvieron llenos de sorpresas y plot twists. El domingo 12 de marzo se llevó a cabo la 95ª edición de los Premios Oscar, en esta ocasión, la noche fue liderada por Jimmy Kimmel, quien hizo de la ceremonia una mucho más amena que anteriores.
La cinta con mayor número de nominaciones fue Everything Everywhere All At Once con un total de 11 categorías, seguida de la comedia negra The Banshees of Inisherin y The Fabelmans, ambas con siete nominaciones —la gran pérdida de la noche, que se fue a casa sin un solo galardón—.
